The Little Things In Life

Every day Ian and I would wake up and run outside like we have never seen anything like it before. We would always have fun outside even if we were tired, cold,

sick or anything we could make the most boring days into the best days of our lives. Ian and I were practically blood brothers. That time of my life was the best time of

my life because I didn't have to worry about homework, girls, tests, expensive things or anything, Ian and I lived life to the fullest. Today most of us don't see the value

of the little things you get in life, all we want is all the expensive and big things but a simple Birthday Day, Valentine’s Day, candy, or even you simply being there in

there time of need. Something as simple as that could turn a frown upside down. That's why I believe people should cherish the little things and make the blank

canvas of there life a master piece.

One day while my cousin Ian, his sister Isabella, their parents and I were all at a fair in New Jersey I cracked my head wide open. Ian, Issabella and I were all in

this extremly small play house that I couldnt get through for the life of me. I approached some elastic bands that made it very hard to maneuver my way through so

instead of going through I tried to skip it by jumping over the bars. Over my head I didn't see the sharp edge and before I could react my head violently hit the bar and I

plopped to the ground. I didn't know what had happened. It felt like some one took a tazer to my head. I felt my head throbbing but I didn't think much of it. I then lift

my hand off my warm head and my cousin yells "YOU’RE BLEEDING!” I looked at him confused but I looked at my hand it was bright red like the pedals of a rose. In

shock, I gathered my strength and walk my out of the little fun house. A police officer then brought me to the medical office and they called the hospital for an

ambulance. while I waited there I saw my life flash before my eyes. I relized that haven't really lived my life to the fullest, I haven't done all the things I wanted to do like

bungee jump, finish middle school, high school, college, get married, have kids, get a good job, maybe become a star lacrosse player. There are endless possibilities.

There was just so much I haven't done yet. That's when I realize I have to start living my life because as something simple like hitting my head on a bar I could have

died and never got another chance to do the things I love and things I haven't experienced yet.
After my life flashed though my eyes in a matter of seconds the

ambulance showed up and took me to the emergency room where the doctor put 8 staples in my head.

I could have easly bleed out and died but i stayed calm and just let the paramedic people do there jobs. Even though they were making jokes and laughing i

trusted them. My accident wasnt that bad, other then not being able to get my cut wet its was fine. It really didnt hurt that bad and it was the last day we were staying

there so i wasnt missing out on anything. This was my lifed changing experiance, it showed me that life has endless possiblities and it could make you any where

from a school janitor to a president of a company. It all depends on how you play your cards and the decions you make. Just make the best of you life now because

you will never have a chance like this again.

This is what i believe.
